Tokens of Affection were inspired by Victorian era jewelry. In the time of Queen Victoria a piece of jewelry was a prized possession and treasured not only for its beauty but also for its meaning. Certain motifs were consistently used in designs to communicate values ranging from love and friendship to good luck and harmony, a token to be worn as a reminder of what is important.
Each of these handmade charms references one of my favorite centuries old symbols with its meaning carved on the back. Gift one to yourself or someone you love.
All chains are brass and measure 18” long. Pendants are also sold separately so you can add more than one to a necklace designing your own personal message.
